 Setting Up an Allowance
WHEN?
Children as young as 4 or 5 understand the necessity of money to "get the goods."
Somewhere between the ages of 6 and 10 (you know your child) is usually a good age to make the allowance connection. Starting the allowance during the summer months, when family schedules may be less hectic, is also a wise move. |
