Rush Sigma Pi at UM - St. Louis.
A decision you will never regret, and an experience you will never forget!
RUSH SIGMA PI
Deciding which fraternity to rush will probably be the biggest decision of your college career. The men of Sigma Pi recommend that you go through the entire rush process with an open mind, be yourself, and find where you fit in.
At Sigma Pi, we take pride in being the top fraternity at UMSL and we believe strongly in five aspects of college life: brotherhood, social activity, athletics, scholarship, and campus/community involvement.

Brotherhood
Brotherhood and the strong bond between our actives is what makes Sigma Pi different from other fraternities on campus. You join a line that goes back over 100 years and has more than 80,000 members. We are the oldest fraternity at UMSL (over 35 years) and have seen over 380 alumni pass through our doors. Despite all this history, there are always new opportunities for you to take leadership roles and even create your own traditions. |
Social Activity
With a social calendar that is possibly the best in St. Louis, we definitely know how to kick back. We try to have at least one social event a week - mixers with Zeta Tau Alpha, Delta Zeta, and Alpha Xi Delta sororities, theme dances, formals, parties, brotherhood events, or just hanging out, there will always be something going on.

Scholarship
On top of all the fun, Sigma Pi still knows how to make the grades. As a chapter, we have a higher GPA than the UMSL all-male average and are currently have the top GPA our of all fraternities on campus. We strive to maintain an equal balance in everything that we do to make the best out of our college career. Also Sigma Pi offers you an array of scholarships which you can check out here. |
Athletics
We participate in intramural sports, as well as hockey leagues in St. Louis and we are always competitive. We are currently the intramural floor hockey champions at UMSL. |
Campus/Community Involvement
On campus, there are Sigma Pi's in leadership positions throughout other organizations and we are the creator of the ACE Project (Altruistic Campus Experience) which stresses our fraternity involvement in giving back to the campus. Our national philanthropy is the Sam Spady Foundation, and we've also been involved in helping with many activities on campus. Together, campus and community involvement really help make the well-rounded man. |
