Research Consultation
Research Consultations - UMSL Faculty, Staff, or Students ONLY
The Research Consultation Program allows you to receive individualized assistance from a Reference Librarian to complete a research project or assignment. In a Research Consultation, the Reference Librarian will help you develop a research strategy and recommend both print and electronic resources.
To set up a consultation appointment, choose a librarian (or select no preference), then an available date & time. On the next screen, please supply as much detail as possible - this will help us prepare & find resources for your consultation. Then choose how you would like to have the consultation - via Zoom, or by email.
Email consultations are offered as an alternative to appointments. If you prefer this method, we will prepare your consultation and email you the results, usually within two working days. Some topics do not lend themselves to email consultation. In such cases, you will be advised to set up a video meeting.
