Research Consultation s - UMSL Faculty, Staff, or Students ONLY
The Research Consultation Program allows you to receive individualized assistance from a Reference Librarian to complete a research project or assignment. In a Research Consultation, the Reference Librarian will help you develop a research strategy and recommend both print and electronic resources.
Please fill out the Research Consultation Request Form with as much detail as possible. On the request form you may choose from between live assistance (via Zoom), or an Email Research Consultation. Scheduling will occur between one to two working days after the request is submitted ; you will be contacted via email.
- Zoom Research Consultation: Video meeting with a librarian.
- Email Research Consultation: We will prepare your consultation and email you the results, usually within two working days. Some topics do not lend themselves to email consultation. In such cases, you will be advised to set up a video meeting.
