This scholarship has been established in the memory of a former UMSL Art History major and faculty member. It is funded by the Barbara St. Cyr memorial and seeks to benefit students pursuing their studies in studio art, art history, and art education. The amount of the scholarship is announced in March of each year.

Typically there are two scholarships of $1500.00 each. Preference is given to St. Louis area high school graduates. The scholarship is renewable on a competitive basis.
