Seeking ... students who attended
Ella Flagg Young Elementary School
Alumni from the 1960 class, 1961 class, 1962 class, 1967 class, 1968 class, from the 1973 class, from the 1979 class, the 1962 class, and from the 1952 class are actively looking for other
students who attended Young School (even if you did not graduate from it). In addition, we

Do you know what Ella Flagg Young did to earn having a school named after her? Neither
did we, but check it out! Upon her death in 1919,
Jane Addams wrote of Young, "She had more general intelligence and character than any other woman I knew." Why didn't they
tell us these things?
