Each short Latin sentence is followed by a verb of asking which introduces an indirect question. Change the direct question to an indirect question by providing the introductory work (interrogative word, num, utrum. . . an. . .) plus the verb of the question in the correct tense, person and number, with the rest of the sentence as appropriate.
