"Space Cadet: A Tom Corbet Fantasy" relates to a old coloring book I used to have. On the cover, Tom stands in front of his rocket, the Space Cadet logo emblazoned on his heroic chest, ready to fly off to save the galaxy. At the time I owned that coloring book, I looked like this So, here I am, also ready to save the galaxy. Send me in, coach.

This is on of the few pieces that I've used words in the image. Using the words reminds me of a paperback cover design, and "space cadet" was a word my parents used to describe me more than once, so the words stayed.

Technical Stuff:

The rocket ship was made in Ray Dream Designer, the logo was made in Adobe Illustrator and then "mapped" on the rocket in Ray Dream. The same logo was placed on my T shirt in Photoshop. The background image is a NASA photo of Jupiter.
