While it would seem wise to teach your children first about that all-important income, think about it.  "Work" is that place to which you disappear each day, and the fact that you get paid to be away is that much more baffling.
 

Even if your child is old enough to understand a visit to where Mom and Dad work, that´s no comparison to the vivid images associated with the hours most children spend in shopping carts, malls, and drive-thru fast-food lines.
