Rainy days can certainly put a damper on a day at the beach or ballpark. They can also be great opportunities for quite time -- reading, playing cards, visiting a new web site, or finishing homework.
So when rainy days come, and they will, being prepared and willing to adapt can make all the difference in the world.

Use these stories (and your own experiences) to emphasize that it's wise to expect the unexpected! You never know when you might lose your money or the wolf might show up at your door, so be prepared! |
