Setting Up an Allowance
HOW?
Give the allowance in small denominations or a mix, for example, all quarters for younger children and perhaps quarters and one dollar bill for older children. This makes it easier for them to think about how they want to allocate their money.
They can count out 75 cents for candy and $2.00 for collector cards and SEE how much of their allowance will be left. And after all, seeing is believing! |
