Audri Adams graduated with a BA in History and a professional writing certificate in 2017. Driven by her passion in history, she went right into UMSL’s Masters program for History, and graduated in May 2020. Audri then secured a full time position in the Pierre Laclede Honor College as an Administrative Associate. She does a variety of things, ranging from assisting students registering for the Pierre Laclede college, as well as working with alumni. Although this position is not directly related to her expertise in history, she feels the writing and teaching skills she had developed while she was in school had prepared her immensely for her current position. Audri shared that UMSL had set her up for success by providing many opportunities for growth and making connections. Because of this, she has no plan to leave UMSL quite yet, as she is anticipating her first solo teaching opportunity in the Pierre Laclede Honor College in the fall of 2021!
