Corey Maley
is a postdoctoral fellow in the philosophy department. As an undergraduate at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln he earned a B.S. in computer science, mathematics, and psychology, and a B.A. in philosophy. After spending two years at Washington University as a research assistant in Dr. Jeff Zacks' cognitive neuroscience lab, he went to Princeton University, where he is now completing his Ph.D. in philosophy. He works on understanding the nature of guilt and shame in moral psychology, and on foundational issues in the philosophy of cognitive science, particularly the nature of computation and computational explanation.
