Current UMSL Students: Current students may incorporate the required certificate courses into their program of study as well by contacting our academic advisor to declare your intention to complete the program.
New Degree Seeking Students: First time or transfer students seeking a degree from UMSL will need to complete the undergraduate application. Upon admission to the university, please complete our online form to declare your intention to complete the Health Communication Certificate program.
Non-Degree Seeking Students: Students who do not wish to earn a degree from UMSL, but who would like to complete the certificate as a standalone program will need to complete the application for non-degree seeking students. Upon admission to the university, please complete our online form to declare your intention to complete the Health Communication Certificate program.
To earn the certificate, students will need to complete a total of 18 credit hours with a grade of C or higher.
