Develop your job search plan

Attend Career Fairs
Take Standardized Exams (GRE, GMAT, OAT, LSAT, MCAT) early enough that your scores can be sent in before the application deadline
Assemble documents such as letters of recommendations, portfolios, and writing samples
Complete applications by the deadlines
If you change your major or program, contact ISS to update your I-20
Report any change of address within 10 days (through MyView)
Consult an international student advisor before accepting an internship or job off-campus
Maintain full time enrollment unless you have received prior approval from ISS
Consider serving as a leader at International Student Orientation
Attend an OPT workshop to learn about post-graduation work options (F-1 students only)
Request an extension of your I-20 before the end date if you need more time to complete the program
