Using the Remote Desktop app from Windows Store

  1. Launch the Remote Desktop app. Click "Add" in the top right corner, and select "Desktop"

  2. For PC name, enter the computer name, computername.stl.umsl.edu

    The Remote Desktop app does not currently work with the RD Gateway. (This could be resolved in a future version.) Instead of configuring a gateway, click Save

  3. Since this app does not work RD Gateway, you must connect to TritonVPN from off-campus or on TritonNet wi-fi, before you can connect to the Windows PC

  4. Click the newly-created desktop

  5. When prompted for a username, enter as ssoid@umsystem.edu

  6. If prompted to accept a certificate, click Connect
