Mission 

As a campus strategic partner, Information Technology Services (ITS) strives to transform how we deliver technology, software, and services to advance the mission, vision, and core values of the institution in support of teaching, learning, research, and administrative functions. ITS encourages proactive collaboration with UMSL students, faculty, and staff to create an inclusive culture of decision-making to support our efforts of continuous improvement of the delivery of IT services.                                                                                              

Vision

Information Technology Services provides modern, robust, reliable, cost-effective systems, services and support. ITS commits as a partner in the educational process, working collaboratively with academic and administrative departments, to accomplish the goals of UMSL and UM System. As a steward and trusted technology partner, ITS provides IT-based solutions and services that are secure, adaptable, innovative, and accessible in order to promote a digital campus community that enhances the way UMSL connects to information.

We are deliberate in cultivating and promoting connections and building a culture where ideas can be shared collectively to advance the institution's mission, vision, and core values.

 

Customer Service  

ITS strives for excellence and quality customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is maintained and improved by continuously soliciting feedback from customers for quality assurance.

Support   

ITS provides several avenues for the UMSL community to receive support through in-person, phone, and chat. 

Collaboration    

ITS promotes collaborative engagement within the ITS department to build and sustain an inclusive work environment, while building community and enhancing partnerships with academic and administrative departments to understand and meet technology needs.

Security  

ITS provides resources to protect and secure the UMSL community’s business and academic data. Several safeguards are in place to ensure that the campus technology assets are protected.

Access   

ITS strives to ensure that technology needs are met and available to all members of the UMSL community.
