"My name is Caitlin Ewing and I have two daughters name Piper and Phoebe, a loving fiancé named Joey and a dog named Leroy. I work full time as the catering director for Concetta's Catering and I am the executive deputy director of The Love Mission non-profit. I took an 8 year hiatus from school because I was struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues. After having some sobriety under my belt I decided to go back to school and graduated from St. Charles Community college with honors, with my associates degree in may of 2022. Since then I am on my second semester here at UMSL. It has been a challenging transition but it has been a rewarding one as well. I have had to sacrifice time with family and friends throughout this journey but everyone has been supportive and most importantly my girls are learning that the sky is the absolute limit and that it is never to late to accomplish your goals."
