CFRP Approach

We focus on research content that incorporates the unique interests of existing School of Social Work faculty and other faculty affiliates with the needs of the community.

Areas of study have been:

  • Mental health
  • Substance use
  • Gerontology
  • Child welfare
  • Disabilities
  • Health
  • Care-giving

How is the CFRP evaluated?

The evaluation of center activities will be based on the ability of the center to engage and assist community agencies, disseminate relevant information to local and scientific communities, and to assist faculty in obtaining funds for conducting family-related research.
