Nigel Cook, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides clinical services to children and adolescents at CASGSL. Mr. Cook received his Master’s degree in Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. Cook currently provides Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Integrative Treatment for Complex Trauma (ITCT) to individual clients that have experienced traumatic events. Additionally, Mr. Cook is involved with two evidence-based group treatment programs: Problematic Sexual Behavior - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS). Lastly, Mr. Cook facilitates a psychoeducational group called Trauma Assessment, Skills, and Knowledge (TASK) to help caregivers understand the impact of trauma on child development and functioning. Mr. Cook enjoys working with youth of all ages.
