Staff Community Groups
Staff Community Groups are self-organized groups of UMSL staff that hold common interests. The purpose of the groups is to support engagement and community building within the UMSL Staff community.
Groups can be created on a variety of topics depending on interest. A few ideas:
- Arts and Culture: cultural interests, film festivals, documentary discussions, museum exhibits
- Book Club: fiction, non-fiction, book of the month
- Crafts and DIY: crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, simple projects around the home
- Gardening: herb gardens, vegetable gardens, landscaping tips
- Parents and Support Systems: new parents, work/life balance, healthy boundaries, family relations and dynamics
- Wellness: walking or running groups, exercising, healthy habits
- Create Your Own!
