Oak Hall - First-Year Residents
Move-In Day is Thursday, August 15, 2024, between 8am and 3pm

Before You Can Move In
- Have your student ID at check-in. New UMSL students should have their ID card made several days prior to check-in to ensure the reader system accepts their new card.
Procedure for Check-In on Move-In Day
- Make sure all of your boxes/bags/belongings are labeled (with your name and room#) as we will have volunteers on hand to help you move in and we want to make sure your items get to the right room.
- All check-ins begin at the front of Oak Hall. Leave your luggage, etc. in the car but bring your student ID.
- Parking:
- Lot KK allows 20 minutes for loading and unloading only.
- Behind Oak Hall is okay, though double parking is prohibited.
- Check-in with the front staff, and speak to a staff member to make sure all of your paperwork is in order.
- Sign for your room keys.
- Have your student ID encoded for your room and building.
- Pick up your welcome materials, confirm rental of your loft (an example will be set up in the lobby), etc.
- Lofts are available for rent at the cost of $100 which will be charged to your student account.
- Head to your new room and meet your RA.
- Complete a Room Condition Report, sign it and return it to your RA. Residents are responsible for any damages found at the time of checkout that were not noted upon move-in. Move in and have fun!!

- Freshmen & New Residents: Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 8 am to 3pm
- Returning Residents: Friday, August 16, 2024 from 8am to 3pm
