The Archives solicits and maintains documents and records of significance to the history of the University of Missouri-St. Louis from a faculty, student, and administrative perspective.
Administrative Administrative records include departmental files, reports, studies, senate minutes, grant files, publications, etc. from the various departments and offices on campus.
Student Newspapers
The Archives keeps bound copies of the UM-St. Louis student newspaper, the
Current originally known as the
Tiger Cub.
Yearbooks We have a handful of early yearbooks know as
Landmark: from 1962-1966;
Graduate Record from 1977-1981 showing students who graduated those years; and
Reflections, the School of Optometry yearbook from 1987-1988.
Course Schedules, Bulletins & Catalogs Popular with returning students who took a course way back when and need to verify its contents; also with students transferring to other schools and needing to show they have taken relevant course work.
Publications Faculty, staff and campus related publications such as departmental newsletters; the
Chancellor's Report to the Community, various Alumni Newsletters, and
Friday's Update, to name a few. We also have student publications such as
Lit Mag, and
Watermark, and Student Organization Newsletters.
Faculty Papers The files of faculty members have special research value related to the faculty member's field of interest.
Photographs Photographs of buildings and grounds; the development of the campus; campus events; faculty and staff; and student activities.
