The Missouri University of Science and Technology Engineering Education Center, housed on the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus, offers a number of engineering graduate program administered by Missouri University of Science & Technology for nontraditional students in the St. Louis area. Graduate work leading to the Master of Science and Ph.D. degree is available in aerospace, civil, computer, electrical manufacturing and mechanical engineering, engineering management, and information science and technology. In addition to the MS programs, the Center offers Graduate Certificate Programs in a number of specific areas. Courses are scheduled one evening per week on the UMSL campus or at various times via Internet.
In addition, the center provides information to St. Louis area residents about Missouri S&T programs in Rolla. Advisers can assist area pre-engineering students with transfer to the Rolla campus.
The center also assists St. Louis area companies by offering noncredit short courses, in‑house training courses and engineering consultation services in the technical areas of competence of Missouri S&T faculty.
