Effective Fall 2023, our new Simplified Tuition structure consolidates base tuition with course and supplemental fees into one flat credit hour rate based on a student’s major. This helps by removing the uncertainty of assessed tuition and fees based on the type of course enrolled. As you consider your college investment, be sure to account for the fees that other universities charge in addition to their base tuition rate. These mandatory fees often add thousands of dollars each term above and beyond their published rates. At UMSL, we keep tuition simple.
