Business Services provides support services to administrators, faculty, and staff at the University of Missouri - St. Louis with regard to business policies, insurance-related matters, real estate, and HIPPA-related issues.

Business Services is the processing office for most types of University contracts and is the liaison to the Office of General Counsel (OGC) with respect to such contracts as well as general campus-level legal issues.

Business Services services as the primary conduit to Risk and Insurance Management.

Through the Shared Services model, Business Services reviews and processes the majority of contracts and agreements for UMSL Facilities Management and works closely with project managers and construction project managers.

Katie is an UMSL alumna (B.A. English)! Katie earned her Juris Doctor at Saint Louis University. She brings 15 years of private practice experience to UMSL. Immediately prior to coming to UMSL, Katie was at Washington University for 5 years in the Joint Research Office for Contracts (JROC).
