What is the UMSL Community Card?

The UMSL Community Card and Community Connection newsletter are part of the university’s Anchor Institution Initiative—a commitment to intentionally apply the University’s resources in partnership with the surrounding community to build a strong North County and metropolitan region. We are excited to relaunch the program after pausing during the pandemic. The UMSL Community Card allows residents of municipalities surrounding the campus to access some University resources at discounted prices and receive special benefits.  Cardholder benefits include: 

Recreation & Wellness Center 

  • Access to the UMSL Recreation & Wellness Center center on the 1st Friday of each month. (Note:  may require current member as sponsor)
  • Opportunity to rent various event spaces at the rec center (rates and fees may vary)
Triton Store 
  • Discount of 20% off items on the first Friday of each month

UMSL Nosh Food Court in the MSC

  • A free, small fountain drink on the last Friday of each month

Touhill Performing Arts Center

  • Cardholders receive INSIDER discounts on these shows:

Jazz Triple Play – 20% discount with code INSIDER good for 2 tickets

Arianna String Quartet – 20% discount with code INSIDER good for 2 tickets

Ambassadors of Harmony – 20% discount with code INSIDER good for 2 tickets
Summer and December shows

To Use Your Community Card

  • Just present your Community Card when accessing the above benefits.
  • The Community Card must be presented in-person to receive discounts on tickets and admission
