Dr. Steven Bruce's research program is located within the Center for Trauma Recovery. His research interests and clinical specializations include the treatment of anxiety and affective disorders, particularly post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Bruce is specifically interested in conducting translational research incorporating neuroimaging and psychophysiological assessment as both predictors and outcomes of treatment response. In addition, Dr. Bruce's international work encompasses increasing mental health care and research in resource-limited regions of the world and the examination of cultural variations of trauma exposure and PTSD symptoms.
Dr. Bruce will be accepting new graduate students in the Clinical Psychology Program for Fall 2025.
