UMSL TRIO Student Support Services is a completely FREE program that supports students’ success! We serve students who are first generation, demonstrate economic need (as defined by Federal guidelines), or have a documented disability. Being in an underrepresented group can have you facing extra challenges, and we are here to help you through those! Here are just some of the services we offer:

- 1:1 academic tutoring
- 1:1 academic & personal coaching
- 1:1 financial coaching
- Career exploration & degree planning
- Mentoring (peer to peer, faculty/staff, or gender specific)
- Assistance with FAFSA completion
- Assistance finding and applying for scholarships & grants
- Community outreach and cultural events
- Graduate school campus visits
- Academic Honors Society
- Informational workshops including financial success, study skills, time management, career prep, etc
