What is expected of me as a TRIO student?

TRIO Student Support Services provides comprehensive support services to meet the academic, personal development and professional needs of students. You and your TRIO Success Coach will develop an individualized plan that maps out your requirements with TRIO.

Who should I contact if I am unable to pay off my Triton account balance?
All payments, payment arrangements, Triton account resolution services and Financial Aid are handled in the Student Financial Services located in 327 Millennium Student Center (MSC). There may be financial aid opportunities available to you.

I need a break! How can you become involved in campus activities?
The Office of Student Involvement has a variety of day and evening activities that are planned for UMSL students. Current information about upcoming events and student organizations can be found on the Student Involvement website or in 366 Millennium Student Center (MSC).

I am feeling overwhelmed with my course load. What should I do?
Feeling overwhelmed during the semester is not uncommon. UMSL provides a variety of programs and services geared toward assisting students develop habits and behaviors to reduce stress and overwhelming feelings. Start your journey in stress reduction by visiting the Office of Multicultural Student Services in 225 Millennium Student Center (MSC). Here are some quick tips for reducing stress.

I’m thinking about withdrawing from all my classes this term!
Wait! We can help! Withdrawing from your classes many have impacts on your success including delayed degree completion and your financial aid eligibility. Before you withdraw, we encourage you to visit USS (225 Millennium Student Center) to meet with one of our Success Coaches so we can help map out the best plan for you. Review common questions and facts about withdrawing that you should consider.

Where can I find tutoring services?
Your starting point for any academic support is right here with SEA! We can connect you to campus-wide services through our extensive connections. The University Tutoring Center (UTC) offers flexible, 7-days a week tutorial support. Learn more about drop-in tutoring and see the tutoring schedule.
