What to Bring, Hotel Accommodations and Parking

What to bring to Orientation

Bring the following items with you the day of orientation to be both comfortable and prepared:

  • Your UMSL Student ID# (8 digit number) and SSO username login information
  • Disability Access Forms documentation if seeking accommodations, Download UMSL Forms
  • Prepare to take a picture for your TritonCard (UMSL ID)
  • You must bring a form of photo ID (valid driver's license, state ID, passport) with you to obtain your TritonCard
  • Casual clothing, comfortable shoes to walk around campus, sweater (for air-conditioned rooms)
  • More information to come as we finalize details. 

Hotel Accommodations

To assist with Move-In Day and out-of-town students and families, we have a few hotel group rate accommodations near campus. Let the hotel know that you are an UMSL student when you make your reservation or click on the block of hotel rooms listed below to receive a discount.

The links below automatically populates the entire length of stay, starting July 14th – August 19th. When you make a reservation, you can adjust the check-in and check-out dates to your stay needs.

The last day to make reservations under these blocks is Friday, August 2nd. Anyone who would like to make a reservations after the August 2nd cut-off date can contact Rebecca Cook, Sales Manager, at 314-209-6002 or rcook@lhmchotel.com directly for assistance.

Before you can enjoy your orientation experience it's important to know how to get here.

Orientation location is being finalized at this time, more information to come. Attendees should utilize the "UMSL Event Today" yard signs and park in LOT E. Look for the welcome signs and greeters in red polos to check in.
