ABSTRACT: The Carlton Kobush Blueprint Collection at the Herman T. Pott National Inland Waterways Library contains some of the personal property of Carlton Kobush related to his time as former head machinist for St. Louis Shipbuilding and Steel Company.

SCOPE: The collection contains blueprints, monographs, and two models.
HISTORY: Mr. Kobush began his career with St. Louis Ship in 1950, and worked there until the company's closure in 1984. The collection was donated in the memory of Carlton Kobush by his family in 2010. The Herman T. Pott National Inland Waterways Library is grateful for their contribution to our archival collections.
ACCESS: This is collection P-048. This collection is available for on-site use only in the Rare Book and Manuscripts Reading Room. Some of the collection may be photocopied, digitally scanned or photographed, depending on condition. Researchers are advised to call ahead concerning changes in hours due to University intersessions and holidays. The St. Louis Mercantile Library is located on levels one and two of the Thomas Jefferson Library building.
