Situated at the corner of Sixteenth and Carr Streets. The building was erected in 1855, at an expense of $4,002.77, on a lot estimated to cost $7,300. It is a small eight-room house, capable of seating 480 scholars. The principal is Sarah J. Bacon, and she has a corps of ten assistants.
