ABSTRACT: Wedding invitation for Thomas Brown.
SCOPE: This collection consists of a wedding and reception invitation for Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brown in St. Louis, Missouri. The documents, dated September 17, 1868, provide details for a marriage ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church at 14th Street and Lucas Place. A separate insert indicates that a reception followed at the Southern Hotel. Two enclosed name cards suggest that the bride and groom were Fannie A. Bosbyshell of St. Louis and Thomas Brown of Philadelphia.
