SCOPE: This collection includes unpublished, bound manuscripts from UMSL Professor of History Dr. Louis Gerteis’ 2004 graduate students. Subjects include The McPheeters: A St. Louis Family by Rebecca Nichols; The Life and Times of Three Powerful St. Louis Filleys by Justin Watkins; and James E. Yeatman – St. Louis’ Compassionate Philanthropist of the Civil War by Mike Venso.

ACCESS: This collection can be viewed on-site in the Rare Book and Manuscripts Reading Room.  Some of the material may be photocopied, digitally scanned or photographed, subject to condition and other access restrictions. The St. Louis Mercantile Library is located on levels one and two of the Thomas Jefferson Library building on the University of Missouri-St. Louis’ north campus.
