Abstract: Letter written from Nick Franchot to Howard Kaye, June 12, 1937. Letter is written on the back of a canvas flap from an aircraft wing fragment, that a friend of Mr. Franchot obtained from a crashed Curtis photographic plane. The letter tells of the crash, talks of swimming and shotgun shooting, and the Rocky Mountains.
