CREATOR: Willaim Beaumont (1785-1853) U. S. Army Surgeon, and American physiologist. Author of "Experiments and Observation on the Gastric Juice and the Physiology of Degestion.
SCOPE: Collection is composed of microfilmed copies of the William Beaumont Papers housed at he Washington University School of Medicine. These reels include, notebooks, memoranda, records and worksheets. Also in the collection are a series of photo reproductions of Beaumont, his family and related items.
