ABSTRACT: Photo Album of steam locomotives and a few diesel locomotives of various photograph sizes compiled by Robert Watson.
SCOPE: Robert Watson lived in Eureka, Illinois and was a member of the Railroad Camera Club. This album includes photos of steam locomotives from all over the country spanning the years of 1934-1937 with a few older photographs. The majority of the steam locomotive photographs are from the Middle West. The diesel locomotive photos are from a Century of Progress Fair in Chicago in 1933-1934. A few caption notes are inserted on a few pages.
