B-20: G. W. Maxwell Photograph Collection

History: G. W. Maxwell (1917-1993) was the president of the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad Company and the Director of the St. Louis Terminal Railroad Association. This collection was donated by his wife, Dorothy Maxwell.

Scope: The collection consists of photographs taken in the 1970s and 80s. They are of various stations, pieces of track and machinery distributed throughout the Eastern half of the U.S. It is particularly strong in the New York and Ohio regions. There is also a series of photographs from the Alaska RR.

Holdings: Two Scrapbooks and two packets of photographs and negatives, amounting to approximately 100 color photographs
