B-8: Hamill-Louisville and Nashville Railroad Collection

History: This collection was purchased by the Library in 1998.

Scope: Albums of mimeographed duplicates in chronological order of correspondence (1900-1918) written by Mr. Hamill, an attorney representing the Louisville and Nashville Railroad. Most of the letters deal with accident-related cases and lawsuits. Also included are mimeographed letters for Hamills private practice (1902-1918, incomplete) and for the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis (1902-1911, also incomplete).
