The mission of the Student Mentor Advisory and Recruitment Team is to assist the Pierre Laclede Honors College with their recruitment of high-achieving high school, transfer, and current UMSL students. In addition, SMART will assist the Honors College community, faculty staff, and support services with developing positive relationships with the diverse student body. Through the continued involvement with the University of Missouri-St. Louis and the Honors College our goal is to increase the recruitment and matriculation of prospective students. Further, we will assist with the orientation and successful transition of new students into the Honors community.
