Disability Access Services

Welcome to Disability Access Services at UMSL. The mission of DAS is to acknowledge the uniqueness of each student as a valuable member of the UMSL community. Recognizing UMSL's commitment to equal access of education, we strive to ensure full and equal participation in all education opportunities by:

• Providing individualized appropriate accommodations and services
• Maintaining a high level of involvement with campus administrators, faculty, and staff
• Helping students with disabilities develop and maintain independence and self-advocacy skills for college and beyond

DAS is staffed by two dedicated team members who provide assessments and ongoing support. We're dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students by providing exceptional service, empathy, and advocacy. We're located on the lower level of the Millennium Student Center on UMSL's North Campus.

Report Campus Accessibility Barrier

Please report any barrier to accessibility on UMSL's campus. You may also report by clicking the construction barrier image to the right. This image can be found on multiple pages for added ease of access. UMSL wants to make most of the college experience to our students, regardless of ability. By having the UMSL community report accessibility barriers we're extending our efforts to address any disparities. Disability Access Services has partnered with the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to bring you this option, as well as to provide a grievance process should you feel your needs are not being met.
