Applicants interested in taking nine credit hours or less of graduate coursework may submit a Non Degree Seeking Application. Whether it be to pick up a few continuing education classes, or to become a stronger applicant before applying into a degree program, Non Degree Seeking graduate students share an interest in learning outside of a degree track.
Applicants will need to pay the application fee and submit official transcripts (unofficial transcripts of any kind cannot be accepted). Official transcripts should be sent directly from their undergraduate institution which shows completion of a baccalaureate or higher degree, with a G.P.A. of 2.5 or greater. Applicants are encouraged to type in the names of courses and/or academic area of interest in the Statement of Purpose section of the online application. This helps the admissions team route the application to the right department for review. The dean of the Graduate School admits students only upon recommendation of the department/unit.
Non-degree-seeking students are not eligible for financial aid, assistantships, fellowships, or tuition support.
