Current High School Students

  • Application for Admission
  • If you are currently in high school, you will need to provide the following academic records:
    • Secondary School Transcript – Submit transcripts for grades 9, 10, and 11.

High School Graduates

  • Application for Admission
  • Proof of High School Graduation
    • Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE)
      • Must pass five or more exams in separate subjects
    • General Certificate of Education, Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) Exams
      • Must pass five or more exams in separate subjects 
    • General Certificate of Education, Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) Exams
      • Must pass two or more exams in separate subjects 

Students with Fewer than 24 Completed College Credit Hours

  • Application for Admission
  • Final high school transcript (See First-Year Student Section)
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities, showing a minimum 2.3 cumulative GPA

Students with 24 or More Completed College Credit Hours

  • Application for Admission
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities, showing a minimum 2.3 cumulative GPA

Graduate Students

  • Application for Admission
  • A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from an accredited college or university with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Most graduate programs at UMSL require that you submit supplemental documents.
