Spring 2025: Advanced GIS Workshop for UMSL Faculty

The UMSL Geospatial Collaborative invites faculty members to participate in an Advanced GIS hands-on training workshop. This workshop is designed for faculty who have completed the GIS Essentials Workshop for Faculty in the past two years, the Principles of GIS Workshop, or have prior experience working with ArcGIS Pro software.

The Advanced GIS Workshop will focus on spatial analysis, geoprocessing workflows, and automation using ModelBuilder. Faculty will learn to apply these techniques to their research and teaching.

Date & Time:

April 11, 2025 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location:

In-Person: UMSL Geospatial Collaborative, Benton Hall, 4th Floor, GIS Lab 401

Virtual: Live-streamed via an online platform

This workshop will be hybrid, allowing participants to attend either in person at Benton Hall or virtually via a live-streaming session. Faculty members attending virtually should have a Windows operating system computer with ArcGIS Pro installed to fully engage in the hands-on exercises. IT support is available to assist with software installation prior to the workshop.
