Laboratory Safety
The Environmental Health and Safety Department is committed to addressing safety concerns across the UMSL campus, including the laboratory environment. We are working to improve the safety culture at UMSL through several projects. Current laboratory safety initiatives include laboratory inspections, general and laboratory-specific safety training, fume hood testing, and a newsletter. We intend to collaborate with, teach, and assist all laboratory stakeholders at the University.
