Every year, GWP hosts writing festivals for students on UMSL campus. Students participate in three break-out sessions and experience an open-mic sharing celebration. The day provides students with mini-sessions that focus on improving writing skills and style. The day concludes with a celebration of writing for students and teachers. You don't want to miss this opportunity!
GWP believes young writers should have the opportunity to:
- play with voices and words
- create poetry, fiction, and memoirs
- share writing with peers
- celebrate themselves as writers
