Dr. Pecoraro served as superintendent of the Pattonville School District for four years until he retired in July 2022. Prior to becoming superintendent, he served Pattonville as the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning for eleven years and was an elementary principal for six years. Before Pattonville, he worked at John Weldon Elementary School in the Francis Howell School District. While in Francis Howell, he was a fifth grade teacher, administrative intern, and assistant principal. He has served on several statewide committees related to assessment and MSIP. He received his bachelor's degree in special education from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, a master's degree in education administration from Lindenwood University, and his doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University. Dr. Pecoraro is currently a Scholar in Residence at the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
