Jessica Tu (Assistant Clinical Professor) currently serves as Chief of Contact Lens Services. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, where she was born and raised. She completed her Optometry degree at Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry and her residency in Cornea and Contact Lens at Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Tu is involved in multiple didactic contact lens courses. She serves as a clinical instructor in contact lens, primary care and disease clinics, and coordinates the dry eye clinic. She conducts clinical research with residents and students in her professional areas of interest, including specialty contact lens fitting and myopia control. Dr. Tu is a Fellow of the Academy of Optometry, a council member of the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education, and is a member of the American Optometric Association and St. Louis Optometric Association.
