Dr. John Szewczyk earned his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Boston College. He then completed his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Following graduation, Dr. Szewczyk completed a primary care/ocular disease residency at the West Roxbury Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Szewczyk is involved in multiple didactic courses, as well as working in the primary care and ocular disease clinics with 3rd and 4th year optometry students.
